What We Do
Aims & Objectives
Call South West aims to:
- Respond to applications for assistance with the purchase of communication aids when supported by recommendations
- Ensure that people who are entitled to statutory funding for the provision of an aid actually benefit from their entitlement
- Highlight the plight of people who suffer frustration and distress because of their communication disability
Matthew has profound deafness and we were able to provide him with an iPad which gave him choices he had never had before .
Achievements
Call South West has:
- Raised many thousands of pounds for the purchase of the latest AAC equipment
- Provided aids for many individuals, both children and adults
- Helped to relieve some of the frustration endured by people with serious communication difficulties
- Held many enjoyable and interesting fund-raising events
- We have helped 7 clients in 8 months
